Titmus Lake, Crawley

There were many different elements that went into regenerating Titmus Lake. This project included tree and stump removal, desilting of the lake, reprofiling and raising the crest of the dam, installing a functioning inspection chamber with a galvanised trash screen and drainage to an outfall lined with gabion scour protection. We also constructed footpaths using recycled crushed brick and installed post and rail fencing as a finishing detail. We also had the pleasure of designing and erecting a bespoke over water walk way and observation platform. This walk way is purpose built for the local nature centre that is in use all year round.
